This is the soap our family has always made in Lebanon, and the one Yanni started with. It is pure olive oil soap made the traditional way, with a soft, creamy lather that cleans without leaving skin tight. Gentle enough for your face, simple enough for the whole household.

Ingredients
Pure olive oil, water, lye*
*Lye (sodium hydroxide) is what turns oil into soap. None remains in the finished, cured bar.

How to use and store
Work into a lather with warm water and wash as usual. Rinse well.
Between uses, keep your bar on a soap dish that drains, out of the shower stream. Natural soap softens when it sits wet, so a dry bar lasts much longer.

Cleanse
Massage over face or body, then rinse well. Pat dry, don't rub.
